Shirley Lou Marcille

Shirley Lou (Winship) Marcille (Gan-Gan) blessed this world with her presence on June 29th, 1941 to the proud parents, Stella and Robert Winship of Mt. Herman, Oklahoma. Shirley attended Chilacco Indian School of cosmetology program. She eventually became a successful owner of her own beauty shop. She was a very hard working woman. Shirley was a real people person, she had the gift of gab. To know her was to love her. She had a place for everyone, not only in her heart, but also her home. Shirley was a big flirt and loved to show off her beautiful singing voice at the Choctaw Gospel singings. Her joy in life was her family. Shirley passed away from this life on April 4th, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Rowena Waggoner of Talihina and Venise Kennedy of Talihina; son, George "Doug" Holman and wife, Joni of Yakima, Washington; grandchildren, Brandon and Chelsea Waggoner of Panama, OK, Kasha Kennedy and Benji Muns of Talihina, Kevin Jr. and Misti Hampton of Talihina, OK, Cash Hampton of Talihina, Blake and Rachel Stanley of Fouke, Ar, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Stanley of Texarkana, Tx, Winston Stanley of Fouke, Ar, Victoria Holman of Germany, Renee Holman and Matthew Holman of Yakima, Washington; great granddaughters, Kinsley Muns, Emmalyn Jo Waggoner, AriAva Muns, and Nadaleigh Hampton; great grandsons, Carter and Colby Stanley; special friends, Rita, Eleanor and Marie as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Stella Crosby; father, Bob Winship; sister, Norma Winship; daughter, Shelly Stanley; granddaughter, Michelle Thomas; brother, James Winship; and son in law, Kevin Hampton Sr. Pallbearers will be Brandon Waggoner, Kevin Hampton Jr. Cash Hampton, Benji Muns, Blake Stanley, and Jasper Humphreys. Honorary Pallbearers will be George "Doug" Holman, Winston Stanley, Eric Stanley, Matthew Holman, Justin Dwight, Willie Winship, and Kenneth Kennedy. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma. Services will be on Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Greenhill Baptist Church in Talihina, Oklahoma with Bro. Andy Ward officiating. Interment will follow at New Talihina City Cemetery in Talihina, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina.
