Jimmie Victor Didlot , Born 8/31/1937 in Pitcher OK left this world 9/24/2022 in Wilburton OK. Jimmie was the son of Mary Helen Driver and George Didlot. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Rosie Reeves, Sugar Lightfoot, Micky Didlot, and sons Ricky & James Didlot. He is survived by his wife - Judy Didlot, Clayton, OK; Brothers - Tate Henry, Clayton OK, Jerry Didlot (Christine) Diamond Springs, CA; Sisters - Katy Wilson; Frankie Broussard (Stoney); Donna Cox (Bob) all of Clayton OK; Son - Dale Didlot (Tammi) of Moore OK; Daughters - Janet Didlot (Harold Jamison), Debby Cossey, Donna Roberts (John) all of Clayton OK. Grandchildren � Drew Cossey, Hartshorne; Aaron Cossey (Marie), McKinney TX; Jimmy Dale Didlot (Ashley), Clayton; Dillon Addington, Clayton; Dejay King, Clayton; Harlee Cossey (Tanner Dunlap), Okmulgee, Hollee Roberts (Gage Williams), Clayton. Great grandchildren � Nora Cossey, Jean Marie Didlot and Haven Grace Dunlap. Plus many nieces and nephews. Jimmie lived a very full and hard life. He left home at the young age of 14 and hitched a train to California and Oregon where he worked many odd jobs, usually in fields and orchards. He later completed welding school. Truck driver, machinist, welder, roughneck, driller was just some of the positions Jimmy held. He was not afraid of hard work and spent most of his career working in the oilfield. Jimmie met the love of his life Judy Albert while living in Silverton Oregon & was married after a very short courtship but spent an incredible 63 years together. They lived in Oregon, California, Idaho, Missouri, Texas and then returned home to Oklahoma where they have lived most of their lives. You can probably tell from all the places Jimmie lived he enjoyed traveling, but his greatest passion was his love for hunting and fishing. Deer, turkey, hogs, or any other crazy varmint didn't stand a chance with his expert gun skills. If anyone was ever in need of a rod or reel for fishing, Jimmie was your guy. He loved to scour garage sales for used fishing stuff and he would clean it up and give to those who were in need. A good game of domino's, farkle, poker, or rummy were always welcomed when Jimmie was around. He had a competitive streak and enjoyed winning. Jimmie was also quite lucky when it came to Bingo or slots! His smile and laugh were warm, his temper could run hot, but his love for his family was undeniable. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. Memorial Services will be on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at 10:00AM at the Choctaw Council House in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma.
