Jerry Dean Sisk

Jerry Dean Sisk was born on April 16th, 1943 in Falfa, Oklahoma to Mae (Medders) and Oda Sisk. Jerry left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on October 3rd, 2022 at Baptist Health in Fort Smith, Arkansas with his family by his side. Jerry attended Buffalo Valley School for 12 years. He was in the Army National Guard for 8 years. He worked as a carpenter all of his adult life. Jerry was a member of Little River Hunting Club for years and one of his favorite hunting places was Honobia Mountain. Jerry was a member of Gold Prospectors of America and loved panning for gold with a passion. Jerry married Laverne in 1982 and from that day forward, they were one. They worked together, hunted, fished, 4-wheeled, panned for gold and enjoyed their children and grandchildren. They spent a lot of time at their Honobia Mountain Cabin. Honobia Mountain will miss him. Jerry is survived by his wife, Laverne Sisk of the home; four sons, Michael Sisk and Jennifer of Muse, OK, Vernon Ramsey and Reba of Whitesboro, OK, Steven Ramsey and Bobbi Jo of Talihina, OK, and Wesley Morgan of Whitesboro, OK; three daughters, Christi Whitmire and William of Yukon, OK, Kim Fitzgerald and Luke of Muse, OK, and Jerri Sisk and Bobby of Whitesboro, OK; grandchildren, Mike, Heith, Ethan, Zachary, Madi, Jacob, Tyler, Erin, Brianna, Cassidy, Abegail, William, Ember, Jonathan, Shane, Jesse, Ian, Garret, Henleigh; seventeen great grandchildren; one brother, Roy Sisk and Nadine of Falfa, OK; one brother in law, Harry Fitzgerald and Virgie of Muse, OK; one sister in law Joyce Sisk of Falfa, OK; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Jerry is preceded in passing by his parents, Oda and Mae Sisk; brother, Rodge Sisk; sister Alta Fitzgerald; father in law Odair Rainwater; brother in law, Check Rainwater; sister in law, Lequita Martin as well as a host of relative and hunting buddies. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at 11:00AM at the Two Mile Church on the Rock in Muse, Oklahoma with John Butler officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
