FREDERICK JOE PIERCE, II

Frederick Joe Pierce II, age 44 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away Thursday morning, September 25, 2025. He was born on June 30, 1981 in Denison, Texas, son to the late Julie Warren and Joe Pierce. His journey through this life was one marked with love, loyalty, and laughter. Fred had a heart as big as the world and loved his family and friends deeply. He could make friends anywhere he went and always loved to share a laugh. Fred was so loved by all that knew him. A proud graduate of Talihina High School, he was an avid supporter of the Talihina Golden Tigers football team and a big Sooners fan. After school, Fred pursued a career in professional fighting, quickly turning Pro in the MMA and eventually making his was to the B.K.F.C to bareknuckle box. His fighting career led him all over the nation and numerous televised fights. As a natural born fighter, he had the heart of a lion, there wasn't anyone tougher than Freddy Joe Pierce. Friends and family were a big part of Fred's life. He stepped up to help raise his niece, Brooklyn, cared for his father, and watched over his granny Norma. Most of all he was a proud and loving father to Annaka. He loved her so much, never missing an opportunity to talk about her and brag about her. His passing has left a void nobody will ever fill. A true larger than life character, there will never be another Freddy Joe. Fred is survived by his daughter, Annaka Pierce of Buffalo Valley; father, Joe Pierce of Talihina; paternal grandmother, Norma Pierce of Talihina; brother, Mason Pierce and wife Tiffanne of Muse; nieces, Brooklyn Byrd of Houston, TX, Tatum and Ella Pierce of Lenox; great nephews, Amari and Alijah of Houston, TX; as well as numerous extended family and a great host of friends. Fred is preceded in passing by his mother, Julie Warren; sister, Cecilia Pierce; maternal grandparents, Bob and Marilyn Warren; uncle, Roger Warren; paternal grandfather, Calvin Pierce. Pallbearers will be Mason Pierce, Kane Owens, Shane Griffith, Brett Burns Jr., Eli Pierce, Brian Mowdy, Jason Baggs, and Robert Palmer. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina. Services will be on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at 10:00AM at Talihina School Auditorium with Bro. Brent Rose officiating. Interment will follow at New City Cemetery in Talihina. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
