Roy G. Mize was born on December 21st, 1946 in Whitesboro, Oklahoma to Lillian (Long) Mize and JD Mize. He lived and worked in Purcell in the oil field before moving back home to Whitesboro to work in the logging industry. Roy loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed the outdoors. He passed away from this life on September 25th, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. Roy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wanda; two sons, Troy and wife Robby Mize and Rodney Mize; three grandsons, three granddaughters, and three great grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thanks to Crystal Lowe, Debbie Robbins, Tabitha Young, and Aaron Bryant. A family memorial service will be on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 from 12:00PM - 3:00 PM at the family residence. Cremation Services are being provided by McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
