Lois June Stepp, age 72 went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2020 in Denton, Texas. Lois was born Jan. 15, 1948 to Clabourne "Buzz" and Betty Davis in Talihina, Oklahoma. Lois graduated from Talihina High School in 1964. Lois soon met and married Raymond Stepp on Nov. 25, 1967. Lois went to school to become a CNA and worked many years at the Talihina Veterans Center and also worked Home Health many years. She loved helping people, she had a heart of gold. Lois was a outstanding cook. In the late 1980's Lois and husband Raymond opened the Valley Diner, it was a great asset to the community. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stepp; her mother and father, Claboune and Betty Davis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Odis and Vera Stepp; brother, Norman Davis, two brother-in-laws; George Stepp and Tub Stepp, two sister-in-laws; Mary Peterson and Nina June Stepp. Lois is survived by her three children; Ray and wife, Michelle, Jacob and wife, Pauline, and Sarah and fiance, Aaron, all of Denton Texas; eight grandchildren, Crystal Stepp, Mikey Moores, Stormie Thomas, Jonathon Stepp, Rachel Stepp, Destiny Dighton, Darren Dighton, and Robert Windham; ten great grandchildren, Jr, Nathan, Able, Liam, Rainy, Brent, Carson, Easton, Miles and Mason Lois is also survived by four sisters, Jean Judge, Elizabeth Lemley and partner John, Diania and husband, Cecil Ollar, Susan Sweatland; sister-in-law, Karen Davis; three brothers, Howard and wife, Carol Davis, Bill and wife, Cindy Davis, Charlie and wife, Kay Davis. Lois is also survived by her special/partner in crime, Bonnie Stepp; brother-in-law, Lonnie and wife, Lesley Stepp; sister-in-law, Tiny Kimble; sister-in-law, Cindy Rose; brother-in-law, John and wife, Linda Stepp and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Pallbearers will be Craig Stepp, Marshall Prince, Aaron Cash, Billy Joe Peterson, Eddie Pryor and Murle Stepp. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Stepp, Ray Stepp, Jonathon Stepp, Darren Dighton and Robert Windham. Lois's greatest blessing was her children and grandchildren. She loved being Granny most of all. Lois will be laid to rest on Saturday May 30th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Tate Chapel in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Cupco Cemetery with Rodney Tate and Lee Allen Humpherys officiating. There with be a friends and family visitation Friday May 29,2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma. On Saturday at noon Tate Chapel will be hosting a lunch for friends and family of Lois, the family would like to invite all that would like to come and celebrate Lois's life to please join. Services are under the direction of McCarn funeral service in Talihina Oklahoma.
