Johnnie Louise Hamilton

Johnnie Louise (King) Hamilton was born November 25th, 1926 in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma to Lillie Foster and George King. She worked most of her life as a teacher's aide and loved helping her students. She has a passion for working in the yard and tending to her flowers. Johnnie married George Hamilton and together they had two children, Susan and Steve. She was a long time resident of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma and faithful member of the Yanush Assembly of God Church since 1953. Johnnie passed away from this life on Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Johnnie is survived by her son, Steve Hamilton and wife Dorothy of Wilmington, Illinois; sister, Monette Baggs of Talihina, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tammy Waggoner and husband Jon of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, Gene Collins of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, Ginger Smock and husband Mike of Wilmington, Illinois, and Gretchen Davis and husband Chris of Wilmington, Illinois; great grandchildren, Calllie Hagelberger and husband Andrew of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, Catelyn Grey of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, Chance Zernicek of Ada, Oklahoma, Trevor Zernicek of Ada, Oklahoma, Macy Smock of Wilmington, Illinois, Steve Smock of Wilmington, Illinois, Zane Davis of Emporia, Kansas, and Mya Davis of Wilmington, Illinois, Alisha Rider of Talihina, Oklahoma, Bo Waggoner of Houston, Texas, Brandon Waggoner of Panama, Oklahoma; great-great grandchild, Emmry Hagelberger, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends. Johnnie is preceded in death by her husband, Gerorge Hamilton; mother, Lillie (Foster) King; father, George King; sister, Marcette Clemints; brother, Robert King; daughter, Susan Collins, and son in law, Stan Collins. Pallbearers will be Dennis King, Lonnie Stepp, Andy Hagelberger, Brian King, Roger Prince, and Jon Waggoner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Collins, Eugene Hamilton, Ronnie Prince, and Johnny Hamilton Visitation will be Friday October 11th, 2019 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm at McCarn Funeral Home in Talihina, Oklahoma. Services will be 10:00am on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at Yanush Assembly of God Church with Rev. Chester Cooley and Bro. Kenny Bryant officiating. Internment will follow at Cupco Cemetery in Yanush, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina. Oklahoma.
