Dorothy Fitzgerald

Dorothy Ann Fitzgerald, age 75 of Talihina, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on Friday, November 13th, 2020. Dorothy was born on March 20th, 1945 to Opal (Bell) and Clyde E. Nicholson in Astoria Oregon. She graduated high school in Talihina, OK and married the love of her life, Carrol Fitzgerald in 1961. Together they started their family with three children. Dorothy was a very hard worker. She was always outdoors, whether in the garden, on the tractor, or feeding cows, she was always busy. She loved to ranch, but most of all, she loved to visit with people. She never met a stranger, and if you were willing to lend an ear, she was willing to talk. Dorothy was a faithful member of the Baptist Church. Dorothy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Carrol of the home; daughter, Brenda Price and husband, Bill of Talihina, OK; son, Charles Fitzgerald and wife, Tisha of Talihina, OK; six grandchildren, Craig Price and wife, Meredith, Kyle Price and wife, Kayla, Keith Price and wife, Tyla, Clay Fitzgerald, Cord Fitzgerald, and Chesnee Fitzgerald; five great grandchildren, Scarlett, Juliet, Kollin, Sawyer, and Parker; sister, Edith Fitzgerald and husband JB; sister, Wanda Kennedy as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and extended family and a host of friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Opal Nicholson; brother, Clyde Nicholson, and daughter, Lorie Fitzgerald. Visitation will be on Monday, November 16th, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma. Honorary Pallbearers will be Craig Price, Kyle Price, Keith Price, Clay Fitzgerald, Cord Fitzgerald, and Chesnee Fitzgerald. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Old Talihina City Cemetery in Talihina, Oklahoma with Bro. Carrol Fitzgerald Officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
