Dorinda Jeannene Anderson

April 2, 1945 - April 3, 2022

Dorinda Jeannene (Perry) Anderson was born on April 2nd, 1945 and departed this life bound for glory on April 3rd, 2022. She was 77 years young. Jeannene was a wonderfully caring and loving person who made new friends wherever she went. She enjoyed the music of the 50's (rock and roll) and her favorite performer was Elvis. Her favorite color was blue, and flower the rose. She loved her God, her family, her friends, and her church. She will be sorely missed here on earth. God will bless her and keep her in heaven till we get there. She is survived by her husband of 58 plus years, John H. Anderson of the home; sister, Judith Ann (Perry) Beck of Lawrence, KS; son, John David Anderson of OKC, OK; three granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Anderson of McAlester, OK, Alysha Marie Anderson of McCloud, OK, and Karissa Bliss Porter of OKC, OK; great grandson, Miguel Antonio Anderson; great granddaughter, Analee Marie Anderson as well as a myriad of nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends. Jeannene was preceded in passing by her parents, James W. and LaJune Perry; daughter, Janette Marie (Anderson) Porter and her great granddaughter, Nicole Destivia Soto. Pallbearers will be Bill Sims, Bob Sims, Terry Kirkes, Rodney Sims, Robert Anderson, Don Anderson, Jason Young, and Jeremy Young Honorary Pallbearers will be Vernis King, Franklin Dighton, David Hamilton, Kenny Hamilton, Wayne Burnett, and Aaron Redman Visitation will be on Monday, April 18th, 2022 at Tate Chapel in Yanush, Oklahoma from 12:00PM to 1:30PM. Services will be on Monday, April 18th, 2022 at 2:00PM at Tate Chapel in Yanush, Oklahoma with Bro. Rodney Tate officiating. Interment will follow at Cupco Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma
