October 4, 1963 - February 24, 2021
Christopher Tillman Sharp, 57 years of age of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, was escorted into Heaven by his brother Carroll and a host of family members on February 24th, 2021. Chris was born in Oklahoma City, OK on October 4th, 1963, and was the son of Pastor Phillip and June Sharp. Chris was a loyal, dedicated member and musician of Lighthouse Cathedral Church in Clayton, OK for the past 43 years. Chris married the love of his life, Janet, on April 23rd, 1983. Chris and Janet made a life choice to not move away and work as a professional welder, but to be faithful and dedicated to his parents, Pastors Phillip and June Sharp and Lighthouse Cathedral Church. For many years, Chris, Janet, and the boys would drive in every weekend from wherever they lived to be a part of his father's ministry in efforts to minister in music to touch and change many lives for the Lord. Chris loved his family with all his heart. Chris was the keeper and guard of our Sharp family land. By keeping wood cut for all fire pits, sharpening blades, and mowing acres of grass awaiting the next family gathering, building fishing habitats for the family pond to be able to watch his kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews catch many fish as soon as their bobber hit the water. Chris was a master chef, with cooking chili, clam chowder, and grill master anxiously awaiting willing taste testers. He was also a master gardener and would supply many family and friends with fresh garden vegetables. Master at canning anything from deer meat, garden vegetables, and fruit jellies. Chris was truly the life of our family gatherings, keeping us all on our toes with shenanigans such as.. grabbing snakes by the tail and whipping the snake head on the ground with sincere thoughts of conserving a bullet. Chris was a true patriot and loved his country with all his heart. Chris loved his church family and took great pride in preparing our church for worship, playing his bass, singing with the singing Sharp family, and making sure praise and worship was meaningful. Chris loved his wife Janet with all his heart, he was proud of his boys and daughter-in-loves, and loved being a papa to his precious grandbabies. Chris is survived by his wife, Janet Sharp of the home; son, Phillip Aaron and wife, Andrea; grandchildren, Landon, Lance, Lane and Emma; son, Christopher Sharp of the home; son, Caleb and wife, Emilie Sharp; parents, Phillip and June Sharp; brother, Daron Sharp and wife, Sherri; sister, Philisha Austin and husband, Jack; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
