Phillip Dean Sharp

Phillip Dean Sharp age 81 of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma passed away from this life on July 10th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Phillip was born on March 16th, 1943 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Levi Nancy Pearl Marie (Gee) and Aaron Junior Sharp. Phillip graduated from Tuskahoma High School. On May 16th, 1959, he married the love of his life, June Sprouse and they began their life journey together. This union brought forth four children. Phillip was a minister at the Lighthouse Cathedral Assembly of God Church for many years. He taught all of his children music, whether it was writing songs, playing instruments or singing, he had a passion for music. Phillip also enjoyed gardening and riding on the side by side. The legacy he leaves behind is no small one, he helped many people over the years and was always a kind spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Phillip is survived by his wife of the home, June Sharp; children, Daron Sharp and wife Sherri of Calera, Philisha Austin and husband Jack Jr. of Tuskahoma; daughter in law, Janet Sharp; thirteen grandchildren, Nachella Robinson, Shavonn McCarty (Jeremy), Alyssa Sharp, Phillip Aaron Sharp (Andrea), Christopher Sharp, Caleb Sharp (Emmilie), Boston Sharp, Makenzie McCutchen (Sean), Shaylon Sharp, Holly James (Jesse), Clark Austin (Tara), Malacha Sisk (Ethan), Samuel Austin; sixteen great grandchildren, Grayce Sharp, Jacob McCarty, Brayden McCarty, Lukas McCarty, Linkin Sharp, Landon, Lance, Lane, Emma Sharp, Parker McCutchen, Hannah Murphy, Cohyn James, Raya Austin, Dawson, Drake, Legacy Sisk; one brother, Patrick Albert Sharp and wife Mary Ella; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and a host of friends. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Carroll Sharp and Christopher Tillman Sharp; grandson, Tillman Carroll Sharp; two brothers, Dale Sharp and Ray Sharp; great granddaughter, Chandler Payge Sharp. Celebration of Life Services will be on Monday, July 15th, 2024 at 1:00PM at the LightHouse Cathedral in Clayton, Oklahoma with Brian McClain, Trent Sharp, and Jack Austin Jr. officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
