Lesa Childress

Lesa Gail Robbins Childress, beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend was born on May 18th 1980 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Sandra and Willard Robbins. She left this world to reunite with her beloved father and grandparents on April 10th, 2024. Lesa lived her young life in Buffalo Valley where she attended school until moving to Talihina and graduating from Whitesboro High School. Lesa had her first daughter Aimee and found her life long friend. She gained her beautiful bonus daughter Audrey, followed by her only son James (Monster Man) and last but not least her little spitfire Riley. Lesa worked hard as an LPN until her precious Monster Man was born. She became a stay at home mom, dedicating her life to her four children. She loved them immensely. Lesa enjoyed running to the multiple school and sporting activities of her children. She enjoyed painting and loved to garden. She loved the ocean and being on the beach was her favorite place to be. Lesa and her high school sweetheart, Israel Beddo moved back to the valley six years ago and they have been inseparable ever since. She loved the wildflowers that he would bring her above all other flowers. Lesa is survived by three daughters; Aimee Peterson of Wilburton, Ok, Audrey Childress of Stillwater, Ok, Riley Childress of the home. One son James Childress of Wilburton, Oklahoma. Parents; Sandra and Rocky Knapp of Wilburton, Ok. Two sisters; Sarah and (JD) Jay Beauchamp of Hartshorne, Ok and Jamie Baldwin of Wilburton, Ok. Stepbrother; Tony and Jovette Knapp of Ft. Worth, Tx. Partner Israel Beddo of the home. Five nieces, 2 nephews, one great niece and one great nephew, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lesa will be greatly missed, but we have comfort in knowing there is no beach more beautiful then the ones our God will bless her with. Pallbearers will be Glen Hamilton, Adrian Johnico, Willard Roberts, Ty Kellet, Justin Brown and Dustin Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers; James Brown, Cecil Brown, Jeffery Brown, Wesley Brown, Richard Brown, Scott Brown, Jack Brown, and Otis Robbins. Services for Lesa will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at the Yanush Assembly of God in Yanush, Oklahoma with Pastor Richard Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Family Cemetery in Cupco, Ok. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
