John Stephen Duncan

John Stephen Duncan, age 77 of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord on Friday, October 27 2023 at Baptist Health in Fort Smith, AR. John was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on August 23, 1947 to Charles and EstaLee (Hill) Duncan. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou (Bentley) on October 15th, 1965 in Antlers, OK at the Justice of the Peace. John and Mary were made for each other. They were married for 58 1/2 year. John was a hard working man; doing whatever it took to take care of his family. He was a giving man, at times literally giving the shirt off his back to someone in need. John is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary; parents, Charles and EstaLee; three brothers, Dan, Phillip, and Gary; two sisters, Janice Tyler and Pamela Harper. John is survived by his children, Joseph Duncan and wife Anita of Talihina, Mary Upton and husband Richard of Tuskahoma, Daniel Duncan and wife Cynthia of Tuskahoma, Roger (Matt) Duncan and wife Laura of Tuskahoma; grandchildren, Trace and husband Tommy Spruell, Jonathan and Ashley Duncan, Kristen and Jesse Bowman, Jessie Duncan, Brandy and Samuel Hamilton, John and Amber Upton, James and Jessie Upton, Cheyanne and Cheyenne Helm, Abrial Upton, Aimee Duncan, Brendan and Caitlyn Duncan, Alexis Duncan, Alexander, Ava and Joshua Duncan, Donald and Heather Mize, Beatrice Mize, Justin and Jennifer Mize; great grandchildren, Aria Duncan, Micah Duncan, Jess Bowman, Kiera Wion-mooers, Kayla Wion-mooers, Nevaeh Upton, Ammrie Upton, Kentleigh Upton, Edalyn Upton, Declan Upton, Jacob Lawson, Jaycee Lawson, Cole Helm, Sebastian Upton, Atticus Loftis, Aimee Duncan, Dianne Duncan, Jacob Mize, Makayla Mize, AJ Lawson, Justine Mize, Randi Thomas, Lucas Lay, Darrell Mize, Alivia Mize; as well as many extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Matt Duncan, Joe Duncan, Dan Duncan, Richard Upton, James Upton. John Upton, Jonathan Duncan, Brendan Duncan, Alexander Duncan, Cheyenne Helm, Samuel Hamilton Visitation will be on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina. Services will be on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at 10:00AM at Trinity Gospel Church in Albion, Oklahoma with Bro. Darrin Goode officiating. Interment will follow at Old Town Tuskahoma Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
