Jeremy Wayne Morris

Jeremy Wayne Morris age 47 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away from this life on March 19, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. Jeremy was born on June 14, 1977 to Johnny Morris and the late Carolyn Morris. After graduating from Whitesboro High School in 1995, Jeremy married the love of his life, Rachelle on June 1, 1996 at Victory Baptist Church in Talihina, Oklahoma. In the year 2000, Jeremy and Rachelle began building a family with the birth of their son, Kody. Two years later, they completed their family with the birth of their twin daughters, Kinsey and Klaira. Jeremy was the best husband and father who made every holiday magical. He was always involved in any activity his children were a part of. It didn't matter if it was a football game or a speech competition, he made sure he was always there. Jeremy worked for many years at the Oklahoma State Veteran's Center in Talihina. He then started employment at the Talihina Public Schools, where he met his life long friends. While working as a transportation director at Talihina Public School, Jeremy drove a school bus. He loved the kids and they loved him too. He started working as a Talihina dispatcher for the police station in October of 2023. He loved the people he worked with and he loved the job. Jeremy graduated in 2024 from OSUIT along with his son, Kody. Their degree was a Bachelors of Science- Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. It was one of his many accomplishments and something he was proud of. At the age of 17, Jeremy accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at Victory Baptist Church. Here he would raise his children and serve Jesus and his church until he joined Jesus in heaven. Jeremy was very involved in VBS and the Christmas plays. They were two things he loved the most. Jeremy loved any activity he could do with his family, haunted houses, Christmas lights, video games, amusement parks, the beach, coaching, and hanging out with all his kids and bonus kids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Rachelle Morris of the home; son, Kody Morris and partner Madison Gillmore; daughters, Kinsey Moreland and husband Preston, and Klaira Morris and fiance' Tucker Stepp; parents, Johnny and Sandra Morris; siblings, Daniel and Lee Toliver, Jennifer and John Thompson, Josh Prewitt and wife Logan, Ashlee Crosby and husband Cole, Sarah Reeves and husband Josh, and Nichole Miller and husband Danny; uncle Jimmy and aunt Claudel Morris, and uncle Chad and aunt Sherry LaGrone; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, bonus kids, and an abundance of friends. Jeremy is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Morris; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Loretta Morris; paternal great- grandparents, Ivan and Leona Morris; aunt, Donna Gayle Duncan; father in law, James Toliver. Pallbearers are Kody Morris, Preston Moreland, Tucker Stepp, Daniel Toliver, Brian Hibdon, David Morris Honorary Pallbearers are Sawyer Adams, Bronco Harjo, Konnor King, Kolby McGee, and Rodney Faulkenberry. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at Victory Baptist Church in Talihina from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Services will be on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at 1:00PM at Talihina School Auditorium with Bro. Danny Harris officiating. Interment will follow at New City Cemetery in Talihina, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
