Mary Lou Duncan

Mary Lou (Bentley) Duncan, age 78 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at 12:07AM at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on December 23, 1944 in Albion, OK to Dixie Pearl (Corbin) and Rodger W. Bentley. She married John S. Duncan on October 15, 1965 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the Justice of the Peace. Mary and John were made for each other. Their union of marriage lasted 58 1/2 years. Mary is survived by her husband, John of the home; children, Joseph Duncan and wife Anita of Talihina, Mary Ann Upton and husband Richard of Tuskahoma, Daniel Duncan and wife Cynthia of Tuskahoma, Roger (Matt) Duncan and wife Laura of Tuskahoma; many grandchildren, Tracy and Tommy Spruell of Wilburton. Jonathan and Ashley Duncan of Norman, Kristen and Jesse Bowman of Whitesboro, Jessie Duncan of Talihina, Brandy and Samuel Hamilton of Talihina, John and Amber Upton of Tuskahoma, James and Jessie Upton of Talihina, Cheyanne and Cheyenne Helm of Tuskahoma, Abrial Upton of Tuskahoma, Aimee Duncan of Fayetteville, Brendan and Caitlyn Duncan of Tulsa, Alexis Duncan of Fort Smith, Alexander, Ava and Joshua Duncan of Tuskahoma, Donald and Heather Mize of Hartshorne, Beatrice Mize of Braggs, Justine and Jennifer Mize of Shawnee; many many great grandchildren, Aria Duncan, Micah Duncan, Jess Bowman, Kiera Wion-Mooers, Kayla Wion-Mooers, Nevaeh Upton, Ammrie Upton, Kentleigh Upton, Edalyn Upton, Declan Upton, Jacob Lawson, Jaycee Lawson, Cole Helm, Sebastian Upton, Atticus Loftis, Aimee Duncan, Dianne Duncan (coming soon), Jacob Mize, Makayla Mize, AJ Lawson, Justine (JuJu) Mize, Randy Thomas, Lucas Lay, Darrell Mize, Olivia Mize; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Rodger and Dixie Bentley; sister and brother in law, Willie and Kenneth Stevens; sister, Betty Nunley; brother and sister in law, Roger and Aline Bentley; sister and brother in law, Mary Jane and Oddis McIntyre; sister, Eloise Bentley Pallbearers will be Matt Duncan, Joe Duncan, Dan Duncan, Richard Upton, James Upton, John Upton, Jonathan Duncan, Brendan Duncan and Cheyenne Helm Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina. Services will be on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at 10:00AM at Albion First Baptist Church with Bro. Darrin Goode officiating. Interment will follow at Old Town Tuskahoma Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
